Welcome to PSHRA Texas Chapter!
Public Sector HR Association (PSHRA) Texas Chapter strives to provide human resource leadership, professional development, services and partnerships to facilitate opportunities for professional growth and networking among all public sector entities in Texas.
The Texas chapter was formed in December 2013 through a partnership with the Texas Municipal Human Resources Association (TMHRA). Since its formation, the chapter has held several annual conferences, has a membership base of more than 130 HR professionals and continues its outreach to public sector and quasi-governmental entities throughout Texas.
The Texas chapter is proud to be affiliated with the National PSHRA organization that represents the interests of over 7,500 human resource professionals of all levels at the Federal, State, and Local levels of government. Its goal is to provide information and assistance to help a human resources professional increase their job performance and overall agency function by providing cost effective products, services and educational opportunities.
